ROOFING PROJECT BACK ON- Starting Monday September 16th we will be shutting off the front parking lot to the school to allow for more roofing material delivery and work to begin again. Drivers, please respect the coned-off area when approaching the school, park in areas outlined below, and enter the building through the south doors. All motorists are asked to use extreme caution and slow speeds between the times of 7:30 am - 7:50 am and 4:00 pm - 4:20 pm when traveling down Main Street.
BUS DROP OFF & PICK UP will remain on the north side of the building.
STUDENT DROP OFF & PICK UP will be on Main Street in front of the Auxiliary Gym. Parents are asked to be facing south on Main Street when picking up and dropping off their child(ren). Please be aware and considerate of students crossing and staff members assisting with drop off and pick up.
STUDENT WALKERS/BIKE RIDERS-If students walk or ride their bicycles to school, and need to cross Main Street, they are asked to wait until a staff member directs them across. Students are asked to cross Main Street at the corner of 5th Street (Directly east of the Auxiliary Gym). For your safety, DO NOT enter the coned off area as there will be heavy machinery moving throughout that area.
PARKING–Student, Visitor, and Staff Student parking will continue in the student parking lot. STUDENTS please park in the first two rows on the east side. STAFF- utilize the west side of the lot. Please use a high degree of caution and slow speeds when entering and exiting the parking lot. VISITORS park along Ward Street across from the Preschool. If necessary, additional parking will be available in the football field area. Please DO NOT block any of the entrances or bays of the bus barns.
ENTRANCES- The Front Office Entrance and both Elementary Entrances will not be accessible during the work. PARENTS AND VISITORS-please enter through the south doors. These doors are equipped with a camera and buzzer to request access. Upon entrance, you must report directly to the front entrance to sign in.

Students who miss just two days of school a month (excused or unexcused) over the course of a year are at risk of not reading proficiently by the end of third grade, struggling academically in Junior High and/or dropping out of High School. Absenteeism can negatively affect students’ social, emotional, and physical well-being.
