A message to our Wiley families: We understand that the recent SNAP delays may and reductions be causing concern. According to the Colorado Department of Education and the Office of the Governor, families who receive SNAP will experience a delay and reduction in receiving their November benefits. You may find more information about your benefits on Colorado PEAK’s website.
Please know that Wiley school is here to support you. We will continue to provide no cost breakfast and lunch to all students. Your children will not go without a nutritious meal during the school day.

Elementary Veterans Day Performance:
Wiley Elementary is honored to celebrate all veterans past or present with this special performance. We are inviting all nonactive/active veterans, parents, family members, community members, etc. to help honor our veterans on Tuesday, November 11th at 9:30 am at the Wiley Gym. Please help spread the word as the students are very excited and hope for a full house. Students and staff have worked diligently this last quarter practicing and perfecting the performance, so we hope to see you there. Three special veterans will be recognized and presented with a quilt during the performance. Refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the performance.

It's game day, Panther Nation!
Today at 5:00 pm, the Wiley Panthers football team will take on the Manzanola Bobcats. This is the last regular season and home game. Come out and support our athletes!!
Tomorrow, at 12:00 pm, the Wiley Lady Panthers volleyball team plays the McClave Cardinals. Once again, last home and regular season game. Come and support!!
The theme for both days is Costume Party. Wear your Halloween costumes to the games this week!
The senior class is selling burritos Thursday. For $3 get yourself a beef, bean, and cheese burrito. For $5, get a burrito, a cookie, and a water!
Don't forget about the Halloween Dance following the football game at the Community Building! An entire night of fun!

Congratulations to George Suarez for competing at the Middle School State Championship XC Meet on a wonderful Saturday afternoon. The meet was located at the beautiful Fehringer Ranch Park in Denver. We are thankful for opportunities for our students to compete with neighboring programs. Good job George.

Kindergarten Family Night:
Kindergarten held their Family Night on Wednesday, October 22nd. Families participated in various activities from crafts, experiments, and taste testing. The night had an apple theme in which students had been studying in class. Thank you to Miss Barnes, Mrs. Bekka, and Miss Kyra for your preparation, organization, and overall GREAT event.
Lots of action from our sport teams today, Panther Nation!
The Wiley Lady Panthers will play the Genoa-Hugo Pirates at 5:00 pm in Genoa-Hugo.
The Wiley Panthers Football team will also play Genoa-Hugo in Genoa-Hugo. Kickoff at 7:00.
Lastly, The SECO Angels have the first game of the CHSSA State Championships at 12:15 today. They will face the La Junta Lady Tigers.

Wiley Preschool is excited to announce a NEW 3 year old program. This program will begin in January of 2026. We are limited to EIGHT spots. Applications are due November 14th, and the review process will begin the following week. Parents will be notified of acceptance the first week of December. This program is a parent private pay and a monthly tuition will be charged for both Full Day and Half Day programs. Please reach out with any further questions you may have. It's almost game day, Panther Nation!
Come support the Wiley Panthers as they take on Flagler this Friday in Wiley! Junior High Volleyball will start at 1:00 pm with High School following. There is no Junior High Football this week, so High School will kick off at 6:00 pm. Wear your best pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month. All proceeds of the gate will be donated to support breast cancer. The Class of 2026 athletes will be recognized for Senior Night during halftime of the football game. Come enjoy some Friday night fun!!🩷🐾💙
